There’s something about a bowl of creamy potato soup that instantly feels like a hug in a mug. This Newks potato soup recipe was born out of countless Sunday afternoons craving that thick, velvety soup you get at the restaurant chain – but wanting to make it right at home, on my own schedule, with…
There’s a reason people drive across town just for a bowl of this. The first time I had Newk’s loaded potato soup recipe, I remember thinking it tasted like a baked potato and a plate of crispy beef had a very delicious argument, and both sides won. It’s rich, velvety, loaded with sharp cheddar, and…
The first time I tried Newks pasta salad, I remember thinking, “how is something this simple so good?” It wasn’t fancy. It wasn’t loaded with strange ingredients. It was just bow-tie pasta, pesto, crisp lettuce, grilled chicken, and a punch of Caesar dressing that somehow tied everything together perfectly. After a few visits (and a…
There’s a reason people drive across town just for a bowl of Newk’s chicken tortilla soup. I still remember the first time I tried it – a cold, rainy afternoon, a warm bowl waiting on the counter, steam curling up with that smoky, citrusy aroma. This homemade Newk’s mac and cheese recipe skips the box, skips the Velveeta, and skips every shortcut you’ve ever taken with macaroni and cheese. Instead, it leans on five real cheeses…
There’s something about a bowl of warm tomato basil soup that instantly feels like home. I first fell in love with this flavor combination after tasting it at a local café, and I couldn’t stop thinking about it – that rich, velvety texture, the bright tang of ripe tomatoes, and the fragrant hit of fresh…
The first time I had Newks Black and Bleu Steak Salad, I almost skipped it for a sandwich instead. I’m glad I didn’t. A pile of crisp romaine, thick slices of perfectly seared steak, tangy blue cheese, and a little heat from jalapeño – it just works. This newks black and blue salad recipe recreates…
